Christmas 2019 Opening Times

Usual opening hours throughout this week but also open on Sunday 22nd & Monday 23rd December. 9am until 3pm each day.

We shall be CLOSED from 3pm on Monday 23rd for the holidays and will reopen on Wednesday January 8th 2020.

Binfield Heath Annual Polo Charity Day Sunday 30th July 2017

poloBecoming a bit of an institution, the Binfield Heath Polo Club Charity Day is being held tomorrow from 10am at the polo ground, Gravel Road, Binfield Heath. Join us for 14 hour smoked Dexter brisket & cold Coronas, polo finals, bouncy castle and ice cream van for the kiddos and general all round lovely day with a forecast for fairly decent weather!

Admission is £20 per car or £5 per person with every penny from the gate going to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.  www.tvairambulance.org.uk

Our wonderful pop up evening!

MC_BT_015Just a selection of the beautiful pictures taken last Saturday at our inaugural pop up dining evening by the wonderful talent that is Eva Nemeth.

On behalf of ourselves and the awesome team at Cuxham Mill, we would like to say an enormous thank you to the wonderful guests who took a chance on this first event and judging by the feedback will be coming back for the next one!

Pre-dinner was all about prosecco and tractor rides to secret locations for canapes and the fabulous gin tasting from Twisting Spirits. Dinner was another 6 courses of truly spectacular food, reared and grown by Blue Tin then prepped and cooked by Andrew Hill and the team from Cuxham Mill, much of which was finished on Farmer Jed’s smoker – a true combo of fine dining and rustic al fresco cooking – the results were quite incredible. We were all so proud of the evening and very thrilled to have had such marvelous diners who made it such a success – thank you!

It’s all about the Old Spot this week….

Wow…as farmers and chief rearers we thought it was only fair in the name of quality control to sample our latest free range pork,  fresh in for this weekend (all in the name of customer satisfaction you understand!)
Well this is the thing – it’s sublimely good!
Boned rolled shoulders, thick cut chops, pork belly, leg on the bone, mince, sausagemeat and original sausages. With one of our favourite local chefs having collected his order for their next pop up night (see below), you know you’re in great company taste wise! This week we were invited onto Bill Buckleys show on BBC Radio Berkshire to talk about the upcoming awards ceremony. Not our usual environment but we managed to converse without too much umming and ah-ing and no swearing at all!
